leaving for china tmr~
its nice to be doing sth as a family.
all five of us have been bustling ard the house,
looking for batteries and socks and everything else.
=)

but im still not over the grief of missing christmas in sg.
*sniff sniff*
oh well.
cant have the cake and eat it too.
at least i'll have my family with meeeee =D

please pray for us while we're there!
health and all =)

my dad, bro and sister just sent miffy over to a friend's place.
she'll stay there while we're gone.
sobss.
she must be feeling very lonely now. =(

okayss, got to go finish the packing.
i'll see you all on new year's eveeee~

but i really shld, given my bad bad bad memory.
so i shall blog abt camp.

back from camp two days ago. =)
it was good,
albeit full of unpleasant encounters.
God spoke through the sermons,
i shared problems and uncle freddie gave the most wonderful advice,
(which i started heeding this morning, and it works, thank God~!)
loved the sharing among cell grp members =)
great time spent with the girls,
got on the swings as often as i can,
took long walks on the beach,
many lomo opportunities =)

the last night of camp was especially memorable.
hearing people share their testimonies,
the sincerity in all that was shared,
i can see so clearly how God led them through tough times
and how His grace flows abundantly in all their lives, and mine.
its all so, so overwhelmingly encouraging.
i really needed that sort of encouragement.
and God knew~ =)
wheeeeee.
thank God. =)

and then we went back to our room,
played a stupid game and all went mad =S
i shant go into details,
but there was a whole lot of laughing,
and i ended up singing to johnson with an umbrella on hand.
after all that excitement,
me and waiyin went down to the playground for a swing at 3am.
it was all fun in a crazy kind of way.

unpleasant encounters in a nutshell:
firstly.
almost lost room key.

secondly.
waterpipe in the area broke,
dirty water flowed from all taps for abt a day,
no water to boil for drinking,
no water to brush our teeth with,
didnt dare wash our faces,
so we all went to sleep that night without doing those things =S
thank God we bathed before the murky water came.
the next morning,
we called for 8 bottles of mineral water,
and used that for teeth brushing and face washing.
hurs.

thirdly.
the lifts are all rickety =S
one time, sk had a plunging lift ride,
and another time, one of them blacked out when we were in it =S
scaryyyyyy~

but God's grace was evident amidst adversity also la. =)
like when we thought we lost one of our 2 keys,
and cldnt find it anywhere,
sk decided to go up to search our room even when we know for sure its not there.
and right when she's in there,
shaoning called to ask for sth,
and sk, out of desperation, asked her if she has our key.
and yep, she has it!
and didnt tell us, because she forgot she has it.
ahahahaa.

so yep, camp was good.
thank God for that. =)

oh another thanksgiving,
matt and jean are officially healthy again!
=D

and by God's strength,
i have decided not to buy that gorgeous zara coat that costs a bomb.
it was a hard decision okays!
cldnt have made it by myself =S

and The Project is gg well!
=D

and i finally saw the christmas skit today! =D

and yeewah told a hilarious story that made me laugh till my tummy hurt.
i love to laugh,
so thank God for yeewah too! =D
she really is one of the funniest pple i know.
ahahaha.

oh and and!
Qt was wonderful today!
thanks to uncle freddie's wise advice,
and thank God for sending him to help =)

back from saving ling ling from the rain.
we bought matt and jean lollipops on the way back.
apple for matt, strawberry for jean. =)
i told matthew i bought him the apple one,
and he said, "Ee, sour!"
ahahahhahaha.
so cute.

anyways,
its Day 6 of the five-week holiday.
a short summary of the past five days:
botak jones,
spa,
mag's birthday bbq and 3 hrs of non-stop eating,
meatballs,
karaoke,
a lot of fun with matt and jean,
lunch with mum and dad,
band prac,
church,
fellowship with jerusalem =)
a long long talk with the cg girls =)
late dinner and an enlightening talk with the usual crew,
shopping spreeeee with lingggg,
working on The Project with The Proj Partner =)
cgl meeting,
and taking care of poor little sick jeanette.

pretty busy huh~
in a good way, i think =)
its gg to get busier though =S
and hopefully better~!

its raining elephants.
but God held the rain early this afternoon,
and let us take poor sick jeanette out for a little walk
to cheer her up.
the walk made her feel a teeny bit better i think.
thank God! =)

oh roars,
ling's trapped in the rain
and now i've got to bring her an umbrella.
but i shall do it with joy okays.
the extra mile for God!

happy things have been happening,
but the insides are toiling with all sorts of negative emotions.
pee-am-as.
very overwhelming this month.
=(

have been studying in starbucks through the week.
sitting beside the christmas tree in starbucks for 6 consecutive days
makes me extra excited for christmas~! =)
(it also makes me extra broke, but lets not go there.)

then i remember i wont be here for christmas.
and all the excitment just goes sizzling into nothingness.
sobs.
its a bummer to not be home for christmas =(
i'll have to miss kailing's christmas party,
carolling with the angels,
the church christmas event,
and celebrations with pem and slk. =(
i've already missed all of that last year!
now i'll have to miss them again.
*sniff*

but looking on the bright side,
i'll have some quality time spent with the family =)
they're the most impt bunch of people,
so i guess it isnt all that bad. =)

but roars.
i want christmas with everybodyyyy!
so greedy.
