watched the chronicles of narnia yesterday.
v lag, i know.
suying is not a movie person, remember? :)
anyways,
back to the movie.
the allusions to the gospel are really subtle.
but nonetheless,
they're there.
the benevolent lion
sacrificed itself on the stone table
for a traitor.
like our Savior Jesus Christ,
who died on the cross
for sinners,
like me.
the white witch
fears the lion but schemes to kill it
and take over its people.
like the Devil Satan,
who knows clearly God is almighty,
but still challenges His power,
and attempts to turn humans against Him,
our Creator.
edmund betrayed his family
for turkish delights and the dream to rule narnia,
like man,
who turns against our Father in Heaven
for worldly and selfish desires for power and glory.

the end of the world is clearly shown in the movie.
the good will triumph over the evil.
which side are you on?

Christ is a perfect man,
a person who is sinless,
a person full of love and compassion,
a person who need not suffer death.
yet His love for us is so great
that He willingly gave His life on the cross
and shed His precious blood
so as to cleanse away all our sins.
all so that we may be saved from the eternal fires of hell.
all so that we may have eternal life in Heaven,
where there will be no pain and tears.
all we need to do is to trust and believe
all we need is to have faith that Christ is our Savior.
is it that hard?
