typed this last night
but didnt post it because i didnt have time to put in the pictures =)

my birthday celebrations~!

okays let see...
the first present that i received was on friday the 13th.
and it was... tadah~!

a banana~!
with a kinda crude bday msg on it.
wahahahaha.
presented so kindly to me by faith, jiayi, mel and yong en.
yes.
four pple.
and a banana.
10 cents per person.
rocks right.
wahahahahaha.
and they stuffed it in my pencil case to surprise me.
but it turned out to be more of a shock.
i was stunned for quite some time to see a huge yellow banana in my pencil case.
but it gave me a good laugh,
and that's more precious than any other present that money can buy =)

the first celebration was with my darling pemers =)
streamboat + bbq @ geline's, which was more than yummy~!

naturally, after the bbq, the whole dining room was covered in oil.
thus,
i was assigned the job of mopping the floor.
not with a mop, dearies, but with a rag.
a rag~!
i was down on all fours, mopping away,
with stupid ting and her stupid bf snapping away with the camera.
i felt so cinderella-ish as i crawled with the rag in my hands.
and then,
all the lights went off and "*sings* happy bday to you..."
they brought out the cake and the pressies =)

big surprise for me really.
these pple can act very well.
i love the presents~!
a bear which they named 'meng bear' (of all names) *rolls eyes*, with a handmade cape and tie...
a princess wand which they added purple pearls, those furry pink stuff and my surname on...
and a birth certificate for my bear, written with sewn-on buttons and fabric gel =)

oh and thank you ian for finishing the cake for us (he ate three quarters of it cos we were too stuffed from the steamboat) =)

our steamboat started at one.
we slept at 5am in the morning.
and me and geok had gotta wake up at 8.45am to be in time for cell.
we woke up late of cos, as you wld have guessed.
wahaha.
cell group was pushed to half an hour later.
i got there, put down my bag, sat down, went away for a while, and came back to see wini taking out a well-hidden cake from out of nowhere.

another surprise~!
im surrounded by wonderful actresses really.
thank you wini, jiayan, geok (yes, again), and hsiaoling-jie~!
and of cos, elphia, who was sick and couldnt come.

then met up with pem again for k box =)
which went wonderfully well.
i can sing again~!
was almost afraid to sing because i thot i wld sound bad due to the lack of practice.
but i can sing again~!

then went home, changed, and went to habourfront to pick up my mummy with pa and lingy.
she went to batam for shopping =)
and she bought me a cake back from batam that costs a hundred thousand rupiahs.
sounds so impressive eh?!
wahahahahahahahahahah.
i love my mummy~!
and my whole family~!
ate at kippo @ keppel club with da-jie and her family =)

she paid for it; it cost her a bomb.

-continuing on my bday celebrations-
and today~
today as in monday, 16th oct 2006,
i went to sch, and then headed for ikea and vivocity with faith.
the others cldnt join us~
so we walked ard vivo, and then faith suddenly decided she wanted coffee from starbucks.
then off we went, into starbucks,
where she strolled right past the counter to an unoccupied table with a huge box on top.
i thot she didnt see the box (yes i am so stupid) and wanted to tell her that this table must belong to someone else, when i saw my name written on the box.
wahahaha.
and a huge bday card was on the table too =)
jiayi, mel and yong en got there earlier than us to get these ready.
and ikea was sort of just a decoy to ensure that i wld get there later than them.
this was the ultimate surprise.
i had no idea at all that this would happen.
thus,
faith, jiayi, mel and yong en are crowned the queens of actresses.
*cue to applause*
so,
guess what's in that box?!

the ones that i told faith about!
she said she will get it for my bday but i really didnt believe her.
WAHAHA.
and they got it for me!!

oh and the starbucks people are so nice.
they gave me a free voucher, knowing its my bday.

we went for dinner at some cafe.

but the food was thumping good.

as good as xlb and peking duck.

(this post is getting ridiculously long, so everything from now on will be super brief)
then we went to toys'r'us to take a million photos with the halloween stuff,




then i left them to meet ting for shopping,
we spent all our $$ on clothes (seven bucks was all that was left in my wallet, and tingy had to change all the ringgit in her wallet to sg dollars because she ran out of $$ to spend)
and then ian v nicely agreed to drive me home.
