i've always wanted her kind of voice.
hiroko sings like that too,
which explains why i loved speed.
they sing with a soulful sort of indifference.
indifferent, but not apathetic.
some people try so hard to put emotions in whatever they're singing,
they ruin the song in the process.
but them,
they sing with indifference,
with serenity,
like they've been through the hurt,
and overcame it.
harmonious, yet full of overwhelming emotions.

i want to sing like that.
but its so darn hard.
(yes its hard,
in case you think its just stringing notes together with your voice.)

its an art.
but the art of song is so commercialized,
people scoff at those who call it art,
and downplay the difficulty of mastering it.
