God showed me a beautiful passage of verses this morning,
during quiet time.

Hebrews 12: 4-6

4 In your struggle against sin,
you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

5 And you have forgotten
that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:
"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,

6 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

its very encouraging to me, really,
to know that.

i think its lovely that God knows each of us personally,
and speaks to everyone in different ways.
to the musicians, He encourages through music,
to the artists, the beauty of creation,
to the scientists, the mystery of it,
and to the linguists, words.
words work oh-so-well with me.
and He knows that,
because He's my Father in Heaven =)
yay.
thank Him.
