this weekend~
elias and esther's noisy wedding lunch,
an enjoyable church service,
johnson, ps and yixin's joyous baptism ceremony,
to be followed by jiaren's wake.

emotions are all mixed and jumbled up.

i hardly knew him,
but it doesnt make his sudden departure any less overwhelming.

we had a little chat last november,
at dz's steamboat party.
he was right there,
fighting with me over the sashimi.

life is fragile, they say.
you can be here today and gone tmr.
i always thought i knew,
but until it happens to a face you actually recognize,
i dont think you can really know.

i like to take my time in sharing the gospel.
and most times, i did.
if i didnt,
maybe we wouldnt all be pondering over the vital question now.
